Storm Causes Sewage Backup In Manhattan Beach

We may not get a lot of rain in California, but when we do, it can cause a large amount of damage if the unexpected were to occur.

In these before & after photos... you will see the damages left from a storm in 2017, that caused a sewage backup in this Manhattan Beach home.

This loss was a Category 3. This is the worst classification and is grossly unsanitary. It could cause severe illness or death if ingested.

It used to be called black water, and sources include sewer backup,flooding from rivers or streams,toilet overflow with feces,and stagnant liquid that has begun to support bacterial growth.
