Flu Season Continues
4/12/2019 (Permalink)
Flu season is still in effect until the month of May. With Southern California's changing weather patterns from day to day, still taking precautions for this seasonal flu virus is important. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) still recommends flu vaccinations for everyone between 6 months to older.
Here are some pointers in fighting the flu virus:
- Be sure to cover your nose and your mouth with a napkin when coughing.
- Using alcohol-based hand sanitizers when water is not available to wash your hands. Wash your hands often.
- Abstain any close contact with anybody who is sick or has flu-like symptoms.
If you have any type of questions regarding the flu, do not hesitate to get in contact with your health care provider.
