In case of an emergency, follow these tips to help make it seem "Like it never even happened"

1. Gather local contacts including the fire department, your insurance company, and your local SERVPRO. This is the first step to take after an emergency occurs.

2. Next, locate your water shut off valve. This is critical to mitigating water damage.

3. If water is coming from light fixtures or electrical outlets, shut off your electrical box/circuit breaker.

4. Safely gather valuable belongings.

5.  Identify the source of water damage and begin to remediate if possible.

These are some of the best practices when it comes to your safety and reducing damage. With some preparedness, we can bounce back from disaster and make it "Like it never even happened."
