Caution Asbestos Hazard

Anything prior to 1986 is required to be tested for lead and asbestos by California State Law. When materials containing lead-asbestos paint are demolished or lead based paint is sanded or scraped, the chips and dust particles from the paint can pose health hazards to anyone breathing or contacting the debris. Materials that are believed to contain asbestos or lead should be tested by a qualified lab. Be sure to consult the insurance adjuster if you suspect asbestos or lead containing materials are present.
