Preparing For High Winds

4/15/2022 (Permalink)

The South Bay Beach Cities has been dealing with random high winds lately. It's always a great idea to be prepared for unexpected high winds that can cause serious damages to your property or personal belongings.

We have large palm trees surrounding us here in the Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach area's. Imagine standing outside of your house on a windy day and a 30 foot palm tree releases some palm tree fronds from 30 feet high directly on top of you, your car or the roof of your home... The outcome wouldn't be pretty.

It's always best to think about these situations  and have some maintenance done before the unexpected arises.

Tips to Prepare For High Winds

  • Bring in unsecure objects from outside and secure objects that can blow away and cause damages or injuries.
  • Remove any dead trees or overhanging branches around your house or vehicles.
  • Shutter windows securely and brace outside doors.
