California Wildfire

Although wildfire in California is a seasonal event, it seems that this year we are facing unusually devastating human and casualty damage.
We would like to keep members of our community informed. This blog post contains useful hints to follow and links to get the latest information.
If you do not have an emergency plan, please prepare one that helps protect lives and valuables. Prepare emergency supplies ( this can be a purse with extra eyeglasses, a credit card, important emergency contact, your own information, 3 day supply of your prescription medication, water bottles and nutritious bars). Have protective clothing and footwear, Save copy of your important document in a cloud based platform.
If ordered to evacuate, do so immediately.
Officials will be able to guide you with the best route to reach a safe area.

Areas not immediately threatened but adjacent to the wildfire may get a substantial amount of soot, smoke and haze which could affect health for some people. In this case it is recommended to stay inside with closed windows and doors.
